He was predeceased by: his father Virgil Solomon Scott, Sr.; his siblings, Milton Donald Scott and Martha Ann Main (Scott); his siblings' children, Stephanie Ann Herrick (Main) and Mark Schwery; and his granddaughters, Lulu Abigale Dooley and Savannah June Dooley.
He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Jennifer Dooley (Michael) of Overland Park, KS and Jeffrey Scott (Aimee) of Kansas City, MO; his grandsons, Gordon Virgil Dooley and Elliot Scott; and his siblings, Shirley Schwery (Allen) and Charles Scott (Vera).
