We announce the death of Johnnie Stanley of Exeter, Missouri, who passed away on June 7, 2026, at the age of 87. Johnnie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, O. C. Stanley and Twyla Stanley (Harrell); his brother-in-law Jack Ruark; and his nephew Tom Ruark. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane; his daughter April Shockley (David) of Wheaton, Missouri; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Goetz (Trent) of Exeter, Lindsey Joeckel (Curtis) of Cassville and Chris Shockley (Libby) of Wheaton, Missouri.; his great grandchildren, Tyson, Jolee Kate, Truman Goetz, Tate, Paityn Joeckel, Mitchell, Ian and Audrey Shockley; and his siblings, Dennis Stanley (Reva) of Sibley, David Stanley (Penney) of Exeter, Missouri and Linda Ruark of Monett. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
