He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Eugene McCarty and Peggy Jane Bogle (Hocker); and his partner Lysa. He is survived by: his sons, Derek, Kevin McCarty and Jarod (Jamie); his grandson Derek (Brooke); his partner's children, Larissa, Tori and Kyle; his brother Kim McCarty; and his aunts, Linda Young and Patsy Todd. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
