We announce the death of Norma Jean Maples (Fair Grove, Missouri), who passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roma S Stewart and Alta Elizabeth Stewart of Rogersville, MO.; her siblings, Paul Fredrick Stewart and Janice Lynn Sparks; her husband Jerrel William Maples; and her sons, Christopher Brantley Maples and Clint Douglas Maples.
She is survived by: her children, Alta Naomi Patterson (Steven) of Strafford, MO, Jerrel William Maples Jr. (Laura) of Katy, TX and Jimmy Lynn Maples (Cathy) of Fair Grove, MO.; and her brother-in-law Richard Sparks. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
