He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Burrel "Dicks" Hicks and Mary Ellen Hicks; his sister-in-law Darlene; and his sibling's children, Lisa, Donald, Robbie and Eric.
He is survived by: his sister Krissan Stacey (Frank); his wife Joetta Jean Hicks; his children, Christopher Ray Hicks of Mississippi, Shawndra Danielle Bunch (David) of Virginia and Corie Dawn Hicks of Fairfax; his sibling's children, Samantha Beth Kerr of Rock Port and Michael Darin Kerr of Harrisonville, MO.; his grandchildren, Anthony Bunch (Shawndra), Noah Hicks (Christopher), Trevelyan Hicks (Corie), Harper Hicks (Corie), Aidan Smyser (Samantha), Emily Herrington (Samantha), Cyrus Herrington (Samantha), Barrett Kerr (Michael) and Brooklyn Kerr (Michael); and his sibling's children, Danny and Joetta.
