She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Clyde and Alma Leila Bridgewater (Wells); her husband Irvin N. Brooks; her grandson Billy Downey; and her brother William Bridgewater.

She is survived by : her children, Irvin Brooks (Pattie), Elaine Downey (William), Samantha Brooks, Henry Brooks (Marsha), Christy Briley (Jodie) and Brian Brooks (Amanda).

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Desloge Chapel (1116 N Desloge Dr, Desloge, MO 63601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Desloge Chapel (1116 N Desloge Dr, Desloge, MO 63601). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM at the Leadwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Dementia Society of America.
