She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert J. Pate and Mary Ann Pate (Crites); her husband Braden May; and her son Kendall May. She is survived by: her son Jason Barber; her sister Robin Sohn (Dwayne); her grandchildren, Clayton Barber, Bailee Barber, Calvin Barber, Carter, Austin Stokes and Tatum Barber; her aunt Tressa Crites; her sibling's children, Jimmy Nicholson and Melissa Halter (Cody); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Brody Nicholson, Jase Nicholson, Aidan Halter, Alex Halter and Autumn Halter; her pet Jan; and also, Dana Stokes (Ben) and Joni Carr.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cozean Memorial Chapel (217 W Columbia St, Farmington, MO 63640). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
