She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Shumate and Esther Shumate (Farley); and her brother Jerry Shumate. She is survived by: her son Jeff Vandiver (Crystal); her grandchildren, Blake Vandiver and Macey Barnhouse (Preston); her great grandchild Shepherd Barnhouse; her grandson Everett Barnhouse; and her brother Ronnie Shumate (Karen). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and many special friends.
