He was predeceased by: his wife Pauline; his daughter Michelle; and his siblings, Charley, Leo, Paul, Leonard, Glen Roderick and Helen Marie Skaggs.
He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Debbie Thurston (Darell), Susan Weitzel (Don) and Greg Roderick (Alan Bennett); his grandchildren, Darren Thurston (Renee), Doug Thurston, Christina, Rebecca Hacker (John), Eve Obenauer (Mike) and Jesse Weitzel (Jessica); and his great grandchildren, Tucker, Sawyer, Paisley, Callie, Kinley, Jaron, Khloe, Colin, Hadley, Sadie, Lucy, Morgan, Rigel, Leyna, Mike, Karissa and Knox. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
