He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Pinkston and Ethel Pinkston (Archambo); his son Ernest Dwaine Pinkston; and his siblings, Jane Vaught, Geneva Grifford, William Pinkston, Fred Pinkston, Norman Pinkston, Lynn Pinkston and Raymond Pinkston.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Etta Pinkston (Eaton); his children, Gary Lee Pinkston (Jackie) of Celebration, Florida and Pamela Rose Agnew of Farmington; his daughter-in-law Vickie Pinkston of Farmington; his grandchildren, Jarred Pinkston (Martine) of Denver, Audra Redmond (Carl) of Farmington, Natalie Maximowicz of Mechanicsburg, Lindsay Bergoudian (Alex) of Chesterfield, Ben Arand (Rosie) of Moberly, Megan Smith (Caleb) of Farmington, Courtney Pinkston (Nichols) of Fredericktown and Alex Pinkston (Montana) of Desloge; and his brother Thomas Pinkston (Violet). He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
