Howard Peterson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard Peterson of Farmington, Missouri, who passed away on March 11, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Peterson and Ethel Peterson; his siblings, Evangeline Taylor and H. L. Peterson; and his son A. J. Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn McLane Peterson; his children, Chip Peterson (Debbie) and Beth DeStefano (Paul) of Florida; and his grandchildren, Brian Holme, Katelyn Wiles (Derek), Kristen Waggoner (Dyllan), Harry Peterson (Alisha), Parks Peterson (Paige), Jocelyn Peterson, Rachel Peterson (Zach Rhodes), Michael DeStefano (Jennifer) and Diane DeStefano Peterson (Jonathan). He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to United Way, Memorial United Methodist Church, or Serenity Hospice.
