He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Paul Davis, Walter "Sonny" and Alice Wells. He is survived by: his mother Marcia Ann Wells (Davis); his significant other Jessica "Jessie" Wells (Vance); his sons, John Benjamin and Beau Matthew Wells; his parent Jerry Wells; his sister Jessica Lynn Mell (Luke); his nephews, Reid and Tyler Mell; his parents-in-law, Trent and Tina Vance; his brother-in-law Ben Vance (Marlee); and his grandmother Ruth Davis. He is also survived by several other family members, aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.
A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, February 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Parkland Chapel (1260 Karsch Blvd, Farmington, MO 63640). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations, if desired, may be directed to Venmo, @Jessie-Wells21 to benefit John and Beau. Contributions may also be made directly to the family.
