He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Mell and Etha "Fern" Mell (Thomas); his daughter Deanna Mell; and his siblings, Dolores Cleve, Tommy Mell, Robert Mell, Kenny Mell and Marshall Mell.
He is survived by: his significant other Elsie Chamberlain; his daughters, Dayna Welker (Jeff) and Alyson Thebeau (Michael); and his grandchildren, Allison Wachter (Andrew), Adelynn Welker, Haylee Thebeau, Brody Thebeau, Lana, Lance, Audriana, Ainsley and Amillia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
Memorial donations, if desired may be made to the St. Paul Lutheran School.
