He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Arning and Aliva Arning (Claybourn); his son Richard "Rick" Louis Arning; and his brothers, Bill Arning, Fred Arning, Virgil Chapman and Charles Chapman.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Arning; his daughters, Debbie Hutchings (Wayne) and Cheryl Martinez (Dave); his son-in-law Tim Russell; his grandchildren, Amber Ross (Cameron), Michael Jaramillo (Amber Lee) and Jacob Russell; his great grandchildren, Noah, Natalie and Lily; and his sisters-in-law, JoAnn Arning and Shirley Arning. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cozean Memorial Chapel (217 W Columbia St, Farmington, MO 63640). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
