He was predeceased by : his parents, Loya Mabery and Edith Mabery; his former life partner Peggy Jo Aubuchon; his son Jeffery L. Mabery; his granddaughter Christina Nicole Mabery; and his sisters, Bonnie Crites and Betty Miller.

He is survived by : his wife Glenda; his children, Tricia Walker (Tom) of Springfield, MO and Matthew (Mary Virginia) of Birmingham, AL; his daughter-in-law Paula Mabery of Park Hills, MO; his grandchildren, Dustin Mabery (Erin), Tristan Walker (Amanda), Hugh Mabery, Sienna Winchester, Lindsey Chrisco (Greg), Aubry Mabery and Paisley Mabery; his siblings-in-law, Paul Sitzes (Barbara) of Richmond, VA and Margaret Kiplinger of Dallas, TX; his nieces, Sarah Bertram and Jane Robke; and his friends, Judy Heflin, Mike Hogan, Phyllis and David Pearman. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Desloge Chapel (1116 N Desloge Dr, Desloge, MO 63601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at the St. Francois Memorial Park (6776 Vo-Tec Rd, Bonne Terre, MO 63628).

Memorial may be made to Park Hills Church of Christ or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
