He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Payne and Retta Payne (Harris); and his siblings, Janice Huffman and Freddie "Fred" O. Payne. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn "Sue" Payne (Hackworth); his children, LeaDonna Sue Payne (Bobby Johnson) and Ronald "ReRun" Payne, Jr. (Stephanie); his grandson Nick Payne (Niki); his great grandchild Jaylynne Payne; and his siblings, Gail Huffman, Joyce Reagan, Sandy Wells (Gregg), Bill Payne (Kim), Paula, Caleb, Lauren Cartee and Stephen Price. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members.
Memorials may be directed to the choice of the donor in honor of Ronald's memory.
