He is survived by: his wife Karen Schlater; his children, Kyle Schlater of Farmington, Michael Schlater of Farmington, Alicia Moulder (Kyle) of Texas, Mendy Brown (Josh) of Rockford, MI. and Dustin Campbell of Piedmont; his siblings, James Schlater (Veronica) of Patterson, Dennis Schlater (Jan) of Arnold, Sharon Cecil (Doug) of Pleasant Hill, IA and Karla Gatewood (Gary) of Pleasant Hill, IA.; and his grandchildren, Alexis Mae, Kylie Kay, Selena Marie, Eleanor Joanna Louise and Oliver Maxwell. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew.
