It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosa Lee Matkin of Farmington, Missouri, who passed away on September 21, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Grindstaff and Glenda Grindstaff (Long); her husband Allen Matkin; her son Donald Nielsen; her son-in-law Bill Mund; and her brother-in-law Marvin Chapman.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Nielsen (Gale), Randy Nielsen (Dana), Chuck Klempert (Amy) and Tammy Mund; and her sister Joan Chapman. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cozean Memorial Chapel (217 W Columbia St, Farmington, MO 63640). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Knob Lick Cemetery.
