He was predeceased by: his father Thomas E. Roy; his siblings-in-law, Junior and Shelba Odle (Lucas); his son William Roy; his stepdaughter Amy Lou Strauser; his brother Joseph I. Roy; and his siblings-in-law, William Heifner and Linda Odle.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Roy (Odle); his stepchildren, Peggy Sue Hicks (William) and Sammy Joe Strauser; his siblings, Janice Heifner, Patricia Bone (Bob), Thomas J. Roy (Patricia), Edward Roy (Patricia), Sue Yost (Mike), Timothy Roy (Peggy), Carol Brewer (Lonnie) and Nancy Dickey (Tim); and his siblings-in-law, Judy Roy, Tina Odle, Joe Odle, Randy Odle (Tonya), Roger Odle and Jeff Odle. He is also survived by three step-grandchildren.
