It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Eugene Hammers of Farmington, Missouri, who passed away on March 10, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse A. Hammers and Maudie V. Hammers (Rice); and his siblings, James, Carl, Chester Hammers, Edith Turner and Linda Berger.
He is survived by: his wife Phoebe "Cathy" Hammers (Edgar) of Farmington; his daughters, Samantha Rhoades (Robert "Rocky") of Beloit, WI, Tammy Reinhold (late George), Rhonda Dobbs (Graham) of Barnhart, MO and Gina Montgomery (David) of Hopkinsville, KY; his grandchildren, Cody Hammers, Erin Donjon, Caroline Attema, Jacob Montgomery, Gretchen Dobbs and Ian Montgomery; and his great grandchildren, Braylee and Joshua Whelan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
