Shirley Anne Monckton Obituary

In loving memory of Shirley Anne Monckton (Fayette, Missouri), who departed this world on February 3, 2026 at the age of 91. Shirley leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shirley touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Smith (Cricket) of Missouri and Charles E. Smith; her mother Pauline Noel; the father of her children Willard Dale Johnson; her daughter Deborah Johnson-Henry; and her husband George Monckton.

She is survived by: her daughters, Delilah (Steve Slipke), Donna Johnson of Oklahoma City, OK and Damaris (Matt Jones). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
