He is survived by: his wife Mary Margaret Van (Hainen) of Riet; his children, Sarah Scott (Wayne), Joseph Van (Melissa) of Riet and Arthur Van (Tara) of Riet; his grandchildren, Logan, Dominic, Michael, Jacob, Nolan and Matthew; and his siblings, John (Betty), Olga (Art), Mary Lou, Richard (Jean), Gloria (Mike), Ray (Barb), Larry (Barb) and Jim (Betty).
