With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary F. Bernhardt of Fenton, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on January 10, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rodney Haug and Catherine Haug; her daughter Kelly Jean Rutledge; her husband Jim Bernhardt; her former husband Charlie Rutledge; and her siblings, Donny, Carol and Richard.
She is survived by: her children, Jill (Chuck Ketterer) and Craig (Jane Rutledge); her grandchildren, Zoë and Isabel; her siblings, Anita, Jim, Paul, Bettie, Janet and Gary; and her pets, Dot, Penny and Dutch. She is also survived by many many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made on behalf of Mary to The Independence Center of St. Louis.
