He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Eggers and Vina Eggers; and his wife Melba Eggers. He is survived by: his children, Samantha Murray (Todd), William Eggers, Michele Moody, Terry Moody (Pamela), Cyndy Valentine (Jimmy) and Krista Hicks (Steve). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with numerous other extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Mortuary - Cedar Hill (6300 State Rte 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:45 AM at the same location.
