With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Joe Palmer of Festus, Missouri, born in Malden, Missouri, who passed away on May 17, 2024 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Larry Joe Palmer to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James Elvis Palmer and Nina Janell Palmer (Rogers); and his siblings, James Palmer (Marilyn), Roger Palmer, Patricia Dunn (Russell), Helen Finley (Charles) and Darlene Danback.

He is survived by : his wife Rose Mary Palmer (Schmitt) of Festus, MO; his children, Larry Martin Palmer (Heather Lewis) of DeSoto, MO, James Michael Palmer (Laurel) of Imperial, MO and Jewel Suzanne McNulty (Gary) of Festus, MO; his grandchildren, Drew, Emily, Maddie, Nolan, Aubrey, Jennifer and Brittany; and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Carter, Kaylee, Chase, Zachary, Noah, Luke, Isabelle and Brooklynn. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mahn Funeral Home Twin City Chapel (515 Collins Dr, Festus, MO 63028). A Mass was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (555 Bailey Rd, Crystal City, MO 63019).
