He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Stricklin and Erma Stricklin (Mabel). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Lee Cox; his daughter Joy Johnston (Clint) of Festus, MO; his grandsons, Brian Paul (Thomas) of Springfield, MO and Brett Paul (Claire) of Cottleville, MO; his stepgrandchildren, Ryan Johnston (Karen) of Jonesboro, AR and Kayla Johnston (Ethan Mejia) of Sulphur Springs, TX.; and his great grandchildren, Keaton Michael Paul and Magnolia Ryan Johnston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Yarber Mortuary-Willow Springs (814 E Main St, Willow Springs, MO 65793). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at the Willow Springs City Cemetery (613 N Belshe Ave, Willow Springs, MO 65793).
