He was predeceased by: his father Avard Doyle; and his siblings, Deborah Miller and Terry Young. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Brown (Hannah) of Fisk, Nicole Brown of Cape Girardeau and John Paul Brown of Fisk; his former wife Chris Knight; and his siblings, Denny Brown (Linda) of Dudley, MO, Gene Brown of Dudley, MO, Frances Maxwell of Joshua, TX, Maggie Brown of Fisk, MO, Aileen Willis of Glen Rose, TX, Debbie Benton of Fort Worth, TX, Tommy Joe Brown of Cleburne, TX and Ronda Brown of Cleburne. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
