He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Aloysius Meler and Irene Meler (Kubicki); his wife Valerie Jean Meler (Suhm); his sons, Jason (Kara), Zachary (Heather), Joshua (Rachel) and Jesse; his grandchildren, Elsa, Claire, Graylon, Allison, Megan, Natalie, Kacey and Elijah; and his siblings, Paul (Mary), Peter (Kathy), Margaret Komar (Don), Rosemary Yaecker (Chris), Andrew (Patti), Matthew (Carrie) and James (Krista).
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (610 S 4th St, Clinton, MO 64735).
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes contributions be made to Holy Rosary School or the Sierra Club.
