She was predeceased by : her parents, Bernard Kadel and Isabella Kadel; her husband Jerome Newenhaus; her son-in-law Bryan Mahoney; and her grandson Edward Mahoney. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Memorial donations in Agnes' honor may be made to the St. Louis Society for the Blind and Visually Impaired and the American Heart Association.
