He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Gabbert and Dorothy Gabbert; his brothers, John Gabbert and Tom Gabbert; and his brother-in-law Phil Weisner.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Gabbert; his daughter Staci Sorber (Dave Heacock); his stepchildren, Lenny Impellizzeri (Tammy Kapeller) and Sharon Haskell (Bryan Joyce); his siblings, Jim Gabbert, Dorothy Rebello (Bill), Pat Weisner (Phil) and Kathy Lodderhose (Tim); his grandsons, Jacob Sorber (Taurie Schroeder), Mike Cillo (Julie Lynch), Anthony Cillo (Jamie), Ryan Haskell (Mikki Stephens) and Leo Impellizzeri; his great grandchildren, Andie Cillo and Luca Cillo; and his cousins, Joe Palmisano and Rita Palmisano. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and lifelong friends.
