He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Dinwiddie and Maribell F. Dinwiddie; and his brothers, Roger and John Dinwiddie. He is survived by: his wife Linda Dinwiddie; his sons, Stefan Dinwiddie (Natalie), Jason Dinwiddie (Mandy), Ben Dinwiddie and Matt Dinwiddie; his grandchildren, Sydney, Jaden (Corin), Isaac, Hannah, Alex, Jacob, Liam, Neven, Nathan and Maisie; his siblings-in-law, Niles Rosen (Mary) and June Dinwiddie; and his sibling's children, Alexis, Joan, Reva, Shirley, Deb, Doug, Michael, Maribel and Rochelle.

Memorial donations in Les' honor may be made to Heart Fund or the Alzheimer's Association.
