He is survived by: his wife Pam; his children, Jeffery Nelson, Jennifer Jauernig (Gerald, Jr.), Jeremy Nelson, Jamie Nelson, Jordan Nelson and Mike Cash (Ashley); his grandchildren, Jeffery Nelson Jr., Jaiden Nelson, Kaylob Brutcher, Payton Jauernig and Gerald Jauernig III; and his siblings, Cassandra Jones, Dione Nelson, Dayle Nelson and Machelle Nelson.
