He was predeceased by : his parents, Trevey K. Turnbull and Irene Bernice Johnson Turnbull; and his siblings, Richard "Dick" Turnbull, Jack Turnbull and Judy Mills.

He is survived by : his wife Karen Turnbull of Foley; his sister Elizabeth "Betty" Laird of Elsberry; and his sister-in-law Barbara Turnbull of Troy, MO. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carter - Ricks Funeral Home (3838 East Highway 47, Winfield, MO 63389). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Star Hope Cemetery (1953 MO-79, Elsberry, MO 63343).
