She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Patten (Penning); her sister Mary Lasek; and her grandson Hunter Thorp. She is survived by: her father Floyd Patten of Whiteside; her husband Richard Kempfer; her children, Ricky Kempfer of Bridgeton, Ryan Kempfer (Patricia) of Wentzville and Sara Thorp (Michael) of Troy; and her sister Becky Kempfer (Ed) of Whiteside. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
