He is survived by: his mother Rose Ann Kempker (Veit); his children, James Kempker (Valerie) of Belle, MO, Megan Kane (Patrick) of Kansas City, MO and Sarah Kempker (Kenny Jones) of Kansas City, MO; his close friend Cindy James; his grandchildren, Gavin Kempker, Dominic Kempker and Cora Kane; and his siblings, Deborah Thompson, Diane Morgan (Raymond), David Kempker, Dwayne Kempker (Tanya), Doris West, Donna Kesel and Delores "Lynn" Kempker.
