Nora Monroe Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nora Monroe (Forest City, Missouri), who passed away on May 19, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Junior Slusher and Naomi Slusher (Burrier); her brothers, George and Bud Slusher; and her grandson Ben Luna.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Dean Monroe; her children, Leslee Monroe (Nancy), Mark Monroe (Rebecca), Barbara Quick (Ken) and Paula Luna (John); and her sister Martha Staggs (Ron). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the River of Hope Fellowship Church (27765 US-159, Forest City, MO 64451). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to the New Liberty Baptist Church or the Nodaway Nursing Home.
