He is survived by: his wife Sara Benda; his daughters, Shannon Peterson (Kurt) of Sioux City and Jennifer Wheeler (Rob) of Illinois City, Illinois; his grandchildren, Aaron Peterson, Carl Peterson, Ross Peterson, Mitchell Wheeler (Serena) and Samantha Phelps (Halston); and his great grandchild Nora Phelps.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel (16560 US-160, Forsyth, MO 65653). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the Snapp Cemetery (176 Baker Ave, Forsyth, MO 65653).
