It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Griffith of Forsyth, Missouri, who passed away on April 19, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Newton Oxford and Nellie Oxford (Perkins); and his wife Patricia. He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy (Bill Hagler) and Kim (Terry Schade); his grandchildren, Nicholas Ingenthron (Liana), Jeremy Hagler (Amber), Jake Herd, Jonathan Herd (Allison), Jessica Gervais (Thomas), Samantha Schade and Catelynn Schade; his brother-in-law Garren Lumpkin Jr.; and his pets, Sadie and Tootsie. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Memorial donations are encouraged to the Taney County Animal Control Office or one of the donor's choice.
