It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lonnie Smith of Forsyth, Missouri, born in Albany, Missouri, who passed away on February 15, 2024, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his sister Velina Kay Whitsell; and his father-in-law Charley Allen Brown. He is survived by : his mother Lois Smith (Holmes); his wife Melanie Smith; his children, Tanner Smith of Forsyth and Cammy Cook (Jess) of Taneyville; his grandchildren, Cora, Ella, Tate and Kase; his father Larry Smith; his mother-in-law Carolyn Brown; his siblings-in-law, Melinda Burkhart (Daniel) and Bruce Whitsell; and his sister Julie Hummer (Mike). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
