He was predeceased by : his mother Lena Kemp (Rauls); his brother Lindell Kemp; and his stepmother Kay Goad-Kemp (Bob Lesher). He is survived by : his father Earl Kemp; his siblings, Danny Kemp (Sheila), Jerry Kemp and Nancy Seymour (Ed); and his nieces and nephews, Dana Lanigan (David), Tiffany Cook (Keb), Shane Kemp (Shannon), Michelle Gipson (Doug), Chad Kemp and Doug Kemp (Tasha). He is also survived by great-nieces and nephews, and one (1) great-great-nephew.
