She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Martin and Ida Elizabeth Young (Wray); her husband Noby LaPlant; and her siblings, Loretta Brown, Trula Huffman and Wilburn "Sonny" Young.
She is survived by: her children, Lewis E. "Eddie" Francis (Cathy), Ronald G. Francis (Angie) and Crystal Sherrick (Joe); her grandchildren, Chastidy Russo (Matthew), Chad Edward Francis (Ashley), Tyler Francis (Gina), Toni Thurman (Wes), Kyla Pense (Devin) and Kelli Ikemeier (Eliot Shields); and her sisters, Diana Kuehl and Louise Miller. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Memorial contributions are suggested to be made to the Madison County Senior Center.
