She is survived by: her children, John McDowell (Jill) and Nancy Twinkle Martin (Patrick); her stepdaughter Jennifer Norris; her brother Mark Wafler (Tammy); and her grandchildren, Sarah Isaac (Brad), Mary Martin, John Martin, Chelsey Lerche (Clay), Matt Martin, Rebecca Flaherty (Corey), Geoffrey McDowell (Alyssa), Alexis Lincoln (Jarrett) and Gracie VanHoosier. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Follis & Sons Chapel (700 Madison Plaza Dr, Fredericktown, MO 63645). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
