He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Morris and Grace Morris (Sherfy); his sister Karen Morris; his in-laws, James and Vagia Wheeler (Holmes); and his siblings-in-law, Dale Spain and Stacey Wheeler.
He is survived by: his children, April (Adam Thompson) and Chad (James Pence-Morris); his grandchildren, Hayden (Shelby Thompson) and Wade Thompson; his siblings, Ronald Morris, Linda (Dale White), Wayne (Peggy Morris) and Virginia (Dennis Bryne); his niece Cathy (Perry Royer); the mother of his children Cathy Morris; and his siblings-in-law, Carla Spain, Denise Wheeler, Cindy Morris and Chris Wheeler. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, many other family members & many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bill Banks Event Center (140 S Main St, Fredericktown, MO 63645).
