He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Carlton and Irene Carlton (Lutes); and his brother Jim Zahner. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Carlton (Bowling); his sister Maydeen Carlton Zahner of Fredericktown; his sister-in-law Jane Bowling of Fredericktown; and his niece Jamie Alley of Fredericktown.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Follis & Sons Chapel (700 Madison Plaza Dr, Fredericktown, MO 63645). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
