He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Elake and Verna Maude Cureton (Miller); his wife Irene Yvonne Bollinger; his grandson Adam Long; his great grandchild Wyler Slinkard; his siblings, Carl, Donnie, Jack, Delmar Cureton (Pat), Olga Jean Yount (Cub), Betty James (Jesse), Charlotte Cureton and Shirley Bennett (Jerry); and his brother-in-law Donnie Pogue.
He is survived by : his children, Mike Cureton (Patty) of Fredericktown, Kim Long (Ronnie) of Fredericktown and Michele McBride (Randy Tuttle) of Farmington; his grandchildren, Nathan Pogue (Marissa), Casey Quarando (John), Linley Slinkard (Benny) and Molly Fetters (Drew); his siblings, Paul Cureton (Nancy) of Fredericktown, Carol Vance (Terry) of Fredericktown, Brenda Pogue of Fredericktown and Linda Beaty (Wayne) of Barnhart, Missouri; and his sister-in-law Joyce Cureton of Fredericktown. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
