He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph L. Whitener and Mary Whitener (Sitzes). He is survived by: his wife Katherine Whitener (Kaiser); his brother Bruce Whitener (Barbara); and his sibling's children, Sarah and Brian.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Follis & Sons Chapel (700 Madison Plaza Dr, Fredericktown, MO 63645). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
