With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brent Gunnels of Freeman, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 3, 2025 at the age of 38. He was predeceased by: his father Glenn Gunnels. He is survived by: his mother Deborah Nowak (Tom); his siblings, Wayne Gunnels (Kara) and Bridget Gunnels DiMercurio (Paul); his nieces, Bella DiMercurio, Cecilia DiMercurio and Amelia DiMercurio; his aunts, Renee Burrows (Steve) and Thresa Gunnels-Mays (Rob); and his close friend Jillian Murden. He is also survived by cousins, and friends.
