Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Michael Hays in Freeman, Missouri, born in Joplin, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 73, on June 5, 2023. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Hays and Vivienne Hays; his former life partner Tana Hays; his wife Robin Hays; and his sisters, Missy Brill, Cindy Sours and Deborah Harsh.

He is survived by : his children, Andrea Hilgenberg (Justin) of Joplin and Jonathan Hays (Denise); his brothers, Bill Hays (Annette) of Pine Ridge and Bob Hays (Connie) of Carl Junction; and his grandchildren, Henry and Atticus Hilgenberg. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
