With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gilbert Theodore Benjamin Doss of Freistatt, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Gilbert left this world on April 28, 2024 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Gilbert shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gilbert farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Martin Doss and Leona Doss (Joeckel); his sister Geraldine Moennig; and his great grandchild Sawyer Doss. He is survived by : his wife Grace Lampe; and his sons, Tim Doss of Joplin, MO, Mike Doss (Lorna) of Monett, MO, Steve Doss (Jane) of Mt. Vernon, MO and David Doss (Tammie) of Monett. He is also survived by extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in care of the funeral home.
