He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. O'Rourke and Dorothy V. O'Rourke (Johnson); his great grandchild Aiden Johnson; and his siblings, Roger O'Rourke and Sheila O'Rourke.
He is survived by: his significant other Christine Elliff; his children, Michael Johnson of Mexico, Angel Reese (Dennis) of Rolla and Kayla Johnson of Borger; his stepson Gary Grawe of Fulton; and his siblings, Jimmy O'Rourke of Kansas City, Billy O'Rourke (Tina) of Fulton, Teresa Ames (Lou) of Mexico and Kevin O'Rourke of Columbia. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Arnold Funeral Home (425 S Jefferson St, Mexico, MO 65265).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mike's honor to the American Heart Association.
